• Earthworks Wilts undertook an unusual job for us. Our house backs on to the Kennet and Avon Canal but, due to the steep slope from our garden to the bank, we were unable to make the best use of it. The canal is about 4 metres below the main garden and I wanted to produce a large area at the side of the canal and a terrace half way up.
  Paul came to have a look and said that he could do it without resorting to hiring expensive barges on the canal which was everyone else’s approach. I had had the bright idea of using concrete cradles to build the retaining walls and had engineering drawings of what was needed.
  
  Paul, Darren and Freddie did the job and did it how I wanted it. They adopted some innovative approaches to overcome the difficulties of working at three levels. They worked very hard for about 6 weeks then came back to pave everywhere. Paul made himself available when the company building the stairs wanted to come and measure and laid the paving to suit.
  
  It was a big job and we were lucky with the weather. The result is fantastic.

• Earthworks (Paul & Darren) worked in difficult weather conditions to demolish buildings, extend concrete slabs, install new drainage and services without issue. Liaised with building control for inspections and sign off.
  The works were all completed on time per the pricing issued. Earthworks have worked on two new build projects for me and would be my “go to” contractor for a third.

• We cant recommend Earthworks highly enough; the team were responsible for the groundworks on our recent demolition and extension. Their attention to detail, excellent standard of work and timeliness made them a pleasure to work with.

• Paul was a first class Groundworker on our self build project. Exacting standards and patience through a complex build and prepared to put forward alternative ideas that we had not considered which improved the overall end product. Not prepared to compromise on standards and a nice guy to have working with us.
  
  Ably supported by Darren who was always courteous, respectful of our neighbours and a pleasure to have around. Very happy with the service and end product provided and true value for money as well as being able to introduce us through to other trades (bricklayers etc) who further helped our project. Very happy to endorse and would certainly use Paul and Darren again on our next self build project
